What is the cheapest month to fly Boston to Ponta Delgada nonstop?

Month by month, what the Boston to Ponta Delgada nonstop costs as of 24 October 2026: February is the cheapest round trip at €524, April the dearest at €653, and one way has a €333 day in every month on record.

What is the cheapest month to fly nonstop from Boston to Ponta Delgada? As of 24 October 2026, for a round trip it is February 2027: €524, the airline's $590, out on 18 February and back on 1 March, last confirmed 7 October. November, December and January are €525, a euro more. April is the dearest month, with nothing under €653. One way, there is no cheapest month: every month on the board has a day at €333 ($374).

Every figure below comes from the Boston to Ponta Delgada board and the week of 12 October report, read on 24 October 2026. Each fare carries the day the airline last confirmed it.

What does a round trip cost in each month?

For each month, the cheapest round trip on the board and the dearest one. Economy, one adult, leaving from Boston. The return date is part of the fare, so the same outbound day with a different return is a different price.

October is a short sample: the board holds only its last week, 25 to 31 October.

The cheapest and dearest months are €129 apart. February's floor is €524 and April's is €653. Every month from November to March bottoms out between €524 and €533, so if your dates can sit anywhere in that stretch, the month barely matters.

A one-euro gap can be the exchange rate, not the airline. The board's €524 is the airline's $590, converted at the European Central Bank rate of 1.1269 published on 6 October. The week of 12 October report recorded the cheapest round trip of that week at €525, also $590, leaving on 8 November and converted at 1.1253, published on 16 October. Same dollar fare, two euro figures. February "wins" by a euro that may be nothing more than the day each fare was recorded.

Which days inside a month cost the most?

The dates inside a month move the price far more than the month itself.

  • December holds both ends. 1 and 6 December are €525. Leaving on 18, 22 or 26 December costs €753, €758 and €755.
  • April has no cheap day on the board. Its lowest, €653 on 14 April, is above every other month's floor, and departures on 15, 16 and 17 April run from €831 to €889.
  • February is not cheap on every day either: leaving 12 February and back 22 February is €677, last confirmed 21 September.

If your trip falls in December or April, pick the day on the round trip board rather than the month. The Christmas post has more on the days around 25 December.

Which month is cheapest one way?

None of them, as of 24 October 2026. The one-way board holds 21 departure dates across six months, and every month with a fare has at least one day at €333. That is the airline's $374, converted at the European Central Bank rate of 1.1234 published on 21 October. What changes from month to month is how many days sit at €333 and how far the others climb.

The dear one-way days: €984 on 5 November and €456 on 21 November, both confirmed 21 October; €504 on 18 December and €773 on 15 April, both confirmed 20 October.

The board's own "Cheapest month" box says October 2026. That is the month of its single lowest fare, €333 leaving 25 October and confirmed 22 October. It does not mean October is cheaper than January or February: both have a €333 day too.

March has no one-way fare on the board, though it has ten round trips. We cannot tell you what a one way in March costs, and we will not guess.

What about the summer months?

We do not know yet. The round-trip board ends with a departure on 20 April 2027, and the one-way board on 15 April. We hold no fares for May to September, so this post cannot rank them. When the airline publishes them, they will appear on the Boston to Ponta Delgada board with the rest.

Is Boston to Terceira any cheaper?

Not one way. The cheapest Boston to Terceira one way is also €333 ($374), leaving on 26 October, last confirmed 20 October. That nonstop flies on fewer days of the week than the one to Ponta Delgada, so its board has fewer dates to choose from.

How to read these figures

The airline sells this route in US dollars, and its total is the one you pay. We record that dollar fare and convert it to euros once, when we record it, at the European Central Bank rate published the day before. The board names the dollar figure for its lowest fare only, which is why most euro figures above have no dollar beside them. Choose a date on the board and it opens that date on the airline's own site, where the dollar total is.

The week of 12 October report also lists a one-way figure for this route, but that fare was sold in the other direction, from Ponta Delgada to Boston. It is not a price for flying from Boston, so the tables above use the board.

These are published fares, not live inventory, and a fare can be gone by the time you look. An empty day on a board means we hold no nonstop fare for it. The methodology covers the rest, and Introducing Azores Flights explains what we watch and why.
